We promote from within.

Stage 01, Engage.

Where everyone starts. New specialists go through a five-day formal training program before joining the active pod, then learn the creator and audience inside out over the months that follow. The role we externally hire for, and the rung every promoted seat above traces back to.

  • Customer Engagement Specialist

    6 to 12 months typical

    • Top quartile of pod for revenue + engagement KPIs across at least two consecutive quarters
    • Native-level English with a distinct, readable personal voice
    • Demonstrated coaching instinct in pod chat, async reviews, or mentoring a newer specialist

Stage 02, Review.

First promoted seat. You're no longer writing every message yourself; you're calibrating tone and brand voice across a pod of specialists.

  • Quality Specialist

    12 months typical

    • Calibrate tone across 6+ specialists with consistent QA scores week over week
    • Surface 2+ promotion-ready specialists per cohort and shepherd them through the next-level criteria
    • Maintain at least one section of training material currently in production use across the pod

Stage 03, Specialize.

Two paths from Quality. People who lean into coaching branch into Training; people who lean into pod operations branch into Team Lead. Either path can later cross over.

  • Training Specialist

    12 to 18 months typical

    • Lead 2+ successful Customer Engagement Specialist cohorts as primary trainer
    • Update the training playbook in response to recurring QA trend data
    • Shepherd 1+ trainee into Quality Specialist promotion
  • Team Lead

    18 to 24 months typical

    • Lead a 4 to 6-person pod through 2+ quarters with top-quartile pod-level KPIs
    • Run weekly pod reviews unaided, surfacing trends to ops leadership
    • Handle 5+ creator-strategy escalations end to end without founder involvement

Stage 04, Lead.

Senior leadership. These roles are the long arc; we treat them as future state until someone earns them.

  • Heads of Department

    Future state

    • Three tracks: Heads of Training, Quality, and Operations
    • Each owns a function-level domain across every creator pod
    • Sets quarterly roadmap and deputizes the founder within their domain
