Lyon Partners

About

A premium backend for a small portfolio of creators.

We partner with a handful of top independent digital creators and run the operations that most agencies treat as an afterthought: audience engagement, revenue strategy, content operations, customer experience. Our clients sell the product; we run the business.

What we do

Three things, each done obsessively.

  • 01

    Audience engagement

A trained team of customer-engagement specialists handles every inbound message that hits a creator's inbox. They build real relationships (not scripts, not bots) that drive retention, revenue, and long-term loyalty.

  • 02

    Quality and brand voice

Quality specialists review the messages our specialists send during every shift, calibrating tone and brand voice across the pod. Newer specialists get coached in real time; promotion-ready specialists get spotted and fast-tracked.

  • 03

    Operational muscle

Team leads, operations assistants, scheduling, compliance, tooling. Everything that separates a chaotic three-person operation from a real business. We treat each creator as a business unit and run it like one.

Who we are

Small, senior, distributed.

The team is deliberately small. Every hire is someone we’d trust with a creator’s business without supervision. Customer-engagement specialists and quality specialists work primarily from Kenya and the Philippines, covering the 24/7 inbox rotation on a 4-days-on, 4-days-off pattern. Team leads and operations assistants come from wherever the best candidate lives. We default to remote and stay that way.

FAQ

Common questions, answered.

  • 01

What do I need to prepare for training?

A quality headset, microphone, and PC or laptop, plus a stable, high-speed internet connection. We don't ship hardware; you supply your own setup.

  • 02

How will we communicate during and after training?

Discord is the main platform. You'll need to install it before training starts. We also use the email you provided on the onboarding form for anything that needs a paper trail.

  • 03

When is training scheduled, and how long does it last?

Training opens as soon as a slot is available; we run cohorts back-to-back, so the gap from first interview to start is short. Each cohort runs four days end-to-end.

  • 04

    Is this a remote position?

Yes, this is a fully remote role. You can work from anywhere, provided you meet the technical requirements and maintain a stable internet connection.

  • 05

    What is the shift schedule?

Specialists work a 4-days-on, 4-days-off rotation. Each shift is 8 hours, typically scheduled as 6 AM – 2 PM, 2 PM – 10 PM, or 10 PM – 6 AM in your local time, and you stay on the same slot through your 4-day stretch. Pods in Kenya and the Philippines together cover the inbox 24/7, so you build continuity with the same audience over multiple weeks rather than jumping inboxes mid-shift.

  • 06

    What is the pay structure?

We offer a fixed base rate, paid in USD. As you grow within the company and take on more responsibility, there are opportunities for increased earnings and advancement.

  • 07

    How does pay work?

Pay runs through our Wise account into your preferred bank or e-wallet. We track hours Monday 00:01 through Sunday 23:59 and pay out the following Monday. Settlement can slip by a day if there are a lot of last-minute schedule changes.

  • 08

    How is performance measured?

Performance is evaluated on five axes: consistency, quality of work, adherence to guidelines, communication, and overall reliability. For Customer Engagement Specialists, that surfaces as individual revenue and engagement KPIs reported weekly, plus Quality Specialist sampling (sometimes pre-send for tricky audiences, always post-send for calibration). Coaching comes back through your Team Lead. We are explicit about the numbers; nothing is mysterious or vibes-based.

  • 09

What happens during the probation period?

The probation period is designed to evaluate your performance, reliability, and ability to follow guidelines. You'll receive feedback throughout to help you improve. Successful completion leads to continued work and access to growth opportunities.

  • 10

What are common reasons someone might be removed from the team?

The most common reasons include repeated failure to meet quality standards, lack of reliability, lack of communication, or not following company guidelines. We always provide feedback first, but consistent issues may lead to removal.

  • 11

What does the promotion path look like?

Customer Engagement Specialist → Quality Specialist → Team Lead. Quality Specialists who lean into coaching can also branch into the Training Specialist track, with Head of Training as the next step from there. Every promotion has written criteria and a six-month review cadence. You can read the next level's full job description on the careers page; the bar is the same one an external candidate would have to clear.

  • 12

Where can I learn more after training?

During training you will be in a dedicated Discord chat where leadership posts strategy videos and walkthroughs. Once you finish training, you get access to the main Lyon Discord server: strategies, common mistakes, useful tips, and current best practices, all in one place.
